Stop Dreaming Start Action should be a life philosophy. You can dream for the rest of your life about the things you want to do, your goals, personal achievements and much more, but nothing wil change unless you take action. And the best time to start a new dimension in your life is right now, or you can waste your life away on the couch in front of the TV. Every one of us has one chance at life and who knows how long they are going to live. I would much rather die young but with life and adrenalin pumping through my veins, than dyeing old without ever experiencing life to the fullest.
Life is a God-given gift and people are ‘issued’ with different talents, but so much goes to waste when people don’t take action to overcome their mental obstacles. Almost all obstacles or excuses offered by people for not achieving their goals, are purely a lack of action or fictitious obstacles of mental nature. Those that do take action, often amazes other human coach potatoes with their willpower and ability to achieve something great. Why else do you get Olympic sprint athletes with both feet amputated while some people are in wheelchairs with a single amputated foot? Not to mention some of the other amazing things people achieve that defeat all logic.
Teenagers often have wonderful ideas and goals they wish to achieve, but have no answer if you ask them what they have done about it. A lack of resources requires resourcefulness, and don’t expect any handouts. I am sorry to say that beggars are often the fruits of handouts to lazy people, and I don’t mean to discourage handouts or help when people are struck down by disasters. The message I would like to convey is: Don’t sit down when you are down, stand up and get going or else you are going nowhere.
I happen to like action adventure and sport. While some tourists may like to lie down on the beach or wander through malls and stalls, I prefer to jump out of aeroplanes, go river rafting or mountain climbing. Who needs to sit down in order to relax your brain from an exhausting term at the office? Maybe I am one of those guys who like to burn the candle at both ends, but I find that I have much more energy to attack a new term at the office after being pumped full of adrenalin during a vacation than those with drooping faces in protest of their first working day after putting on weight, eating ice-cream whilst basking in the sun.
‘Stop Dreaming, Start Action’ is one of my life philosophies and I would like those who share this philosophy, to join me here at Travel Action and start sharing their Action Travel experiences and other tips to be successful in life.
